Butt-fused polyethylene fabrications

With over 40 years of industry experience and knowledge, we can support and advise on most fitting requirements. Our extensive manufacturing facilities ensure we have a selection of butt fusion machines to suit all fabrication requirements from 63mm up to 630mm outside diameter.

Our fleet of butt fusion machines are regularly serviced and calibrated to ensure optimum and repeatable weld integrity and our onsite test facilities are used for ongoing batch release testing for small, medium, and large scale batch production runs.

Omicron butt fusion machines

High-quality factory purpose-built welding machines with a variety of welding capabilities, especially for more complex arrangements like mitred bends. Perfect for achieving industry-standard welds suitable for gas and water applications. These machines can manufacture all product types in our extensive fabrications product range.

The industry-leading machine when it comes to repeatability and quality welding for straight joints. The first name in factory and on-site welding machinery with a wealth of history dating back some 40 years. The Gator is a trusted machine when it comes to pressure rated butt welded pipe and fittings..

Fabrication range

We offer a full range of butt-welded fabricated fittings from ø90mm to ø630mm (various wall thicknesses) for pressure and non-pressure applications. Enabling network designers and asset owners the necessary flexibility to install and maintain intricate and complicated networks.

Fabricated fittings offer the transitions, reductions, and diversions within the pipe network which are critical to negotiate around existing infrastructure. All fabrications come complete with pupped outlets which means they are suitable for butt fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical jointing methods.

GIS/PL2-6 Approved Gas Fabrications

We are now fully accredited to manufacture and supply a GIS Kitemark™ range of approved fabricated fittings.

Given the immediate success of introducing our gas-approved pipe into the UK gas market, the decision was made to extend the product offering to include a selection of fabricated fittings.

Now offering the UK gas industry a fully compliant range of stub flanges and a wider range of fabricated fittings suitable for use on low-pressure (LP) and medium-pressure (MP) gas networks up to 5.5 bar.

This decision has been welcomed by all the GDNs and many of the IGTs who now approve our products for use on their networks.
